Winding through deadlines, the big shopping spree and annual family obligations during the stressful Christmas season: Parkour. This year's Christmas mailing from Hartinger Consulting: Parkour. Whoever turned the clock, or more precisely, whoever was allowed to admire our Advent calendar, quickly discovered that, as always with us, the packaging is only half the battle and that inside there is a lot of heart and soul and surprise.

The challenge

Christmas time is not only the most contemplative time of the year, but also the most stressful. The weeks before the big festive season are particularly hectic and one or two things can get lost in the shuffle. Therefore, the biggest challenge was not to drown in this flood of Christmas mail, as well as to create online connecting points to be Christmas connected on all channels.


With this year’s company Christmas mailing, we wanted to remind customers, partners and friends that this time of year is about more than just shopping, and at the same time put a smile on their faces in the midst of stress. In addition, we wanted to remind customers and partners of us and to reaffirm their cooperation with us.

The Christmas mailing realized for this purpose, which humorously accompanied the company through Advent, surprised customers and partners in the form of an unusual Advent calendar. The calendar was actually a parking meter dressed up for Christmas. The special thing about it: Instead of “stealing” time as usual, or let’s say making life a little more hectic, it now gives time. Because behind each door hid a suggestion for more togetherness but also more quiet moments for yourself. Fine illustrations and selected paper ensured an “instant WOW effect” so as not to get lost in the crowd of Christmas mailings. And of course, online tie-ins such as sweepstakes on Facebook, blog posts on our website or content on Hartinger’s social media channels ensured the holistic approach we always take in everything we do.
