The Assignment

Our assignment was clear: to make the new K&Ö app known within the existing PlusCard community of over 300,000 members — the largest loyalty program in southern Austria. The goal: to communicate clearly and charmingly to the target group how easy and comfortable their shopping experience can be from now on.

The Message

Under the motto “Das geht APP jetzt!” (“Now it works APP!”) we use a playful question-answer mechanism to highlight the benefits of the app:

  • “I want more from my PlusCard!” — Now it works APP!
  • “I want all promotions directly on my smartphone!” — Now it works APP!

This simple and effective communication makes clear: with the K&Ö-app, everything becomes easier, faster and more convenient.

Distribution & Benefits

The campaign is run across all of Kastner & Öhler’s own channels and at point-of-sale. At every touchpoint, the benefits for users are clearly highlighted: at every purchase, they can collect points; directly in the app they receive vouchers and exclusive offers and are always up to date on trends and news.

A special highlight: The new app unites Kastner & Öhler and Gigasport in a single app. So whether it’s fashion highlights or sporty trends — with the K&Ö-app, every shopping-experience becomes a pleasure.
