Community

Knowing that we are not alone gives us confidence.

Humans are herd animals. Social beings. Community is a basic need. “Resonance” is a very beautiful term used in psychology which refers to empathic resonance with other people’s feelings or thoughts. It describes the feeling of connection to a greater whole, the experience: I am not alone and isolated.

And it is this feeling that is strengthened by community. Knowing that there are other people who are connected to us through similar experiences, exchanging ideas with them, strengthens us. It gives us confidence.

2022

Community for Europe

In 2022, we launched, with our European network of communication agencies, Community for Europe, our first contract won with the European Commission.

It was a wonderful experience of European collaboration and a magnificent success after five unsuccessful attempts. This success filled me with confidence and pride.

Expansion

A big and long jump into the deep end ...

… this was the moment I experienced this year when I learned what cohesion, community and trust meant by visiting a partner agency of the CommUnity International Association. Having never travelled alone before, the language barriers and the many new impressions made my month in Madrid even more valuable and, in addition to being the highlight of my year, gave me new confidence in a united world and self-confidence in my abilities.
